A soul ache beyond explanation,
even to oneself,
must, of course, be difficult
for others to comprehend.
One wishes from others
their understanding,
or, at least, their acceptance--
but both are rare and difficult
and somehow costly.
We are so very used to seeing
through our own eyes.
