Salt Spots
It’s not funny that people wipe their glasses,
like their eyes, when they cry.
Flickings from triangled lashes dry,
otherwise, like shrunk away seas
or doggy boogers above window sills
or salt slush when the wiper fluid’s out.
Personally, I anticipate glorious results
when God polishes my soul.
